1. Who we are
The seller is 8888 Servis s. r. o., Jenisejská 45A, 040 12 Košice, Slovakia, company ID (IČO) 55 609 830, VAT number SK2122034970, registered in the Commercial Register of the Municipal Court Košice, section Sro, insert No. 57274/V ("we" or "us"). We operate the service under the brand 3D Print House.
Contact: jakub.novak@boostello.com. We answer emails on working days, usually within 24 hours.
Compliance with consumer protection rules is supervised by the Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia), Inspectorate for the Košice Region (www.soi.sk).
2. Definitions
- Customer means anyone who orders printing from us. Consumer means a customer who is not buying for the purposes of their business. Business customer means a customer who orders for a company or in the course of business, usually with a company ID (IČO) provided.
- Model means the file the customer uploads (STL, 3MF, OBJ or STEP).
- Goods means the items we print from the model.
- Calculator means the part of the website that prepares the model for printing and shows the price and lead time.
Besides these terms, consumers are protected in particular by the Civil Code (Občiansky zákonník) and Consumer Protection Act No. 108/2024 Coll. (zákon č. 108/2024 Z. z. o ochrane spotrebiteľa). Contracts with business customers are governed by the Commercial Code (Obchodný zákonník). If anything in these terms is less favourable to a consumer than the law allows, the law prevails.
3. Your model and your responsibility for it
We print exactly what you send us. You are responsible for the content of the model. By uploading it and placing an order, you confirm that:
- you hold the rights to the model, or a licence that allows it to be printed and used as intended. If you want to sell the goods, give them away as corporate gifts or otherwise use them commercially, the licence must allow it. You must not use models under a BY-NC licence for commercial purposes;
- the model does not infringe the rights of others, in particular copyright, trademarks and designs;
- it is not a weapon, a functional part of one, a counterfeit or any other item whose manufacture or possession is unlawful.
We do not check licences or rights to models. However, we may refuse or cancel an order if we have reasonable grounds to suspect that a model breaks the law or infringes the rights of others. If you have already paid, we will refund the full amount.
A business customer will indemnify us against claims by third parties arising because the model infringed their rights.
We do not check the engineering of the model before printing. Whoever designed the model is responsible for its function, strength, dimensions and how parts fit together. If we notice an obvious problem, we will let you know.
4. Price
The calculator works out the price from the actual print preparation of your model: material use, print time, the number of pieces on the build plate, the chosen material and strength, and the country of delivery. The price includes production, packaging and shipping to the address you give.
- Prices are in euros. Next to each price we state whether it is without VAT or with VAT.
- For business customers from another EU member state with a valid VAT number, which we verify in the European Commission's VIES system, and with delivery outside Slovakia, we issue an invoice without VAT under the reverse charge mechanism. For all other customers we charge Slovak VAT.
- The minimum order value is EUR 15 without VAT. For a smaller order, the calculator adds the difference and shows it clearly.
- The price is locked when you submit the order. If the calculator could not work out the price automatically, we will send it to you by email and it applies only once you confirm it.
If a clearly incorrect price, for example zero, is displayed on the website because of a technical error, we are not obliged to supply the goods at that price. We will contact you with the correct price and you can decide whether to keep the order.
5. Ordering and formation of the contract
- You upload a model, choose the material, strength and number of pieces, and fill in your contact and billing details.
- Before sending, you see an order summary with the price and lead time. You submit the order with the button "Place order with obligation to pay".
- We immediately email you a confirmation with a proforma invoice and payment details. The contract is concluded when this email is delivered.
If we cannot print the model, for example because it is damaged, too large or printing it would not be safe, we will write to you within 2 working days and suggest a solution. If we cannot agree, we will cancel the order and refund any payment in full.
If you stated in the form when you need the goods and our lead time estimate does not match, we will check the timing and get back to you. In that case, please wait for our reply before paying.
The contract is concluded in Slovak, or in the language of the website version in which you ordered. We archive the concluded contract electronically and will send you a copy on request.
6. Payment
- Payment is made in advance by bank transfer according to the proforma invoice. In the email and on the website you will find a QR code, the account number and the variable symbol.
- The proforma invoice is due within 7 days. We do not start production until it is paid.
- If you do not pay by the due date, the order lapses and you owe us nothing.
- After we receive your payment, we will send you a confirmation. You will receive the tax document (invoice) by email at the latest when the goods are shipped.
7. Production
We print using FDM technology in PLA and PETG. With this technology it is normal, and not a defect, that:
- layers are visible on the surface, especially on sloped and curved areas;
- the surface is rougher where supports were used;
- dimensions may differ from the model by roughly a tenth of a millimetre, and holes come out slightly smaller;
- the shade of colour may differ slightly from how it appears on screen and between different batches of filament.
We inspect every batch before dispatch and send you a photo of it.
8. Lead time and delivery
- The lead time shown with the price is an estimate based on the current workload of our printers. We explain how we calculate it on the Capacity page. The lead time starts running only once we receive your payment.
- We deliver by contracted courier to every EU country.
- If we miss the lead time by more than 5 working days, we will write to you. In that case a consumer may withdraw from the contract and will receive a full refund.
- Please inspect the parcel when you receive it. If the packaging is damaged, record this with the courier, photograph the packaging and the goods, and write to us within 2 working days.
- The risk of damage to the goods passes to a consumer upon receipt of the parcel. For a business customer, it passes when the parcel is handed to the courier.
- If you do not accept a parcel and it comes back to us, we may send it again at the cost of shipping.
9. Withdrawal from the contract
We make every item only after an order, from the model and settings chosen by the customer. The goods are therefore made to the consumer's specifications. For such goods, under Section 19(1)(c) of Act No. 108/2024 Coll. (zákon č. 108/2024 Z. z.), a consumer has no right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. We also point this out in the form itself before you submit the order.
Before printing has started, we are happy to cancel your order free of charge anyway. Just write to us. We will refund the amount paid within 14 days to the account the payment came from.
Your rights in respect of defective goods (complaints) are not affected.
10. Defects and complaints
A consumer may claim defects in the goods that appear within 24 months of receipt. A business customer must notify us of defects without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after receiving the goods. Hidden defects must be notified immediately after they are discovered, and no later than 6 months after receipt.
How to make a complaint:
- Email jakub.novak@boostello.com with the order number, a description of the defect and photos.
- We will confirm by email that we have received your complaint.
- We will resolve the complaint without undue delay, and within 30 days of receiving it at the latest. We will tell you the outcome by email.
If the complaint is justified, depending on the nature of the defect we will reprint the goods, give a discount or refund your money. If the goods need to be sent back, we pay for shipping in the case of a justified complaint.
The following are not defects: the characteristics described in section 7, errors that come from the model (for example wrong dimensions or walls that are too thin), normal wear and tear, and damage caused by improper use. PLA parts soften from about 60 °C, so do not leave them, for example, in a car in the sun.
11. Limitation of liability
Towards business customers, our liability for damage is limited to the price of the order, and we are not liable for lost profit or indirect damage, such as production downtime. This limitation does not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence.
Towards consumers, we are liable to the extent set by law.
12. Personal data
How we process your personal data is described on the Privacy policy page.
13. Dispute resolution
If you are not satisfied with how a complaint was handled, or you believe we have breached your rights, please email us first. A consumer has the right to ask us to put things right. If we reject the request or do not reply within 30 days, the consumer may file a proposal for alternative dispute resolution. The alternative dispute resolution bodies include in particular the Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia). A list of other bodies is kept by the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic (Ministerstvo hospodárstva SR).
The contract is governed by Slovak law. A consumer who lives in another EU member state does not lose the protection given to them by the mandatory rules of their country. Disputes with business customers are resolved by the courts of the Slovak Republic.
14. Final provisions
These terms apply from 1 November 2026. We may change them. An order is always governed by the version in force at the time it was submitted.
We publish the terms in several languages. In case of any difference between the language versions, the Slovak version prevails.
